Loan Vision is looking for a dynamic, client-focused Sales Engineer to be a key player in driving business growth. This role sits at the intersection of sales and technology, requiring both deep technical acumen and an ability to connect with clients on a strategic level. The Sales Engineer will partner closely with the sales team to identify client pain points and design tailored solutions that align with Loan Vision’s offerings, showcasing the value of our industry-leading mortgage accounting software. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of the mortgage and financial services industries and excel in translating technical capabilities into practical business solutions. You will lead technical discovery sessions, craft innovative solutions, and present those solutions in a way that resonates with executives, CFOs, and operational leads within IMB’s Banks & Credit Unions. You will also serve as a trusted advisor to both prospects and the internal sales team, helping guide the sales process by offering insights into system architecture, integration capabilities, and potential for long-term scalability. In this role, you will be crucial to driving deal success, helping prospects understand how Loan Vision can solve their unique challenges and improve operational efficiency. As a Sales Engineer, your ability to blend technical insights with business strategy will help shape the future of our client relationships and accelerate company growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Sales Account Executives to understand customer requirements and tailor product demonstrations to meet specific needs.
  • Conduct live demonstrations of Loan Vision software, showcasing its features, benefits, and value proposition to potential and existing clients.
  • Respond to technical inquiries from clients and prospects, providing clear and concise explanations of the software’s capabilities.
  • Assist in the design of customized software solutions that align with client business processes and objectives.
  • Work closely with the product development team to communicate client feedback.
  • Liaise with product management on system enhancement, new module design, end user requirements and provide UAT support
  • Support the sales team in the preparation of proposals, including the technical aspects and the creation of customized solution presentations.
  • Assist in the development of technical documentation and sales collateral that highlights the strengths of Loan Vision.
  • Engage with clients during the pre-sales process to gather requirements, answer questions, and address concerns.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment of messaging and demonstration strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, providing feedback from the field to help refine product offerings.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to the sales team on the technical aspects of Loan Vision software.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and the latest features of Loan Vision to ensure accurate and compelling demonstrations.
Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in a pre-sales, sales engineering, or technical support role, preferably in SaaS or financial software.
  • Experience in the mortgage banking or financial services industry is a plus.
  • Experience in MS Office Suite, Word, Excel, MS Outlook, and Salesforce.
Educational requirements:
  • 4-year undergraduate degree or equivalent experience (required)
